Today, Monday, the Karkh Criminal Court issued a 10-year prison sentence against Nour Zuhair, 6 years against Raed Juhi, and 3 years against Haitham Al-Jubouri on charges of stealing the century “tax deposits.”
A statement by the Karkh Criminal Court received by Al-Maalouma Agency stated that “the specialized court for combating corruption has settled the lawsuits related to the crime of what is known as (tax deposits).”
He explained that “the court issued sentences of ten years in prison against the accused Nour Zuhair, and six years in prison against the accused Raed Juhi and a number of employees involved in the crime.”
He added, “The Karkh Criminal Court sentenced former member of parliament Haitham al-Jubouri to three years in prison.”
