Member of Parliament, MP Mohammed Al-Ziyadi, called on Tuesday on Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to inform and submit a summary report on the reasons that led to the dismissal of the political blocs concerned with replacing their ministers before announcing the amendment and within a specific period.
Al-Ziyadi said in a statement to / Al-Maalouma / agency, “The statement of the meeting of the leaders of the Coordination Framework yesterday, Monday, in the presence of the Prime Minister, indicated that discussing the issue of the planned ministerial reshuffle left the decision to replace them to the Prime Minister, but the political blocs concerned with replacing their ministers must be informed of a summary of the reason for the replacement through a report that explains the reasons and a period before announcing it, so that those blocs have the opportunity to choose the replacements according to the standards of professionalism and integrity.”
He added, “The ministerial amendment must be voted on by the House of Representatives, and therefore the House of Representatives must be informed of the intention to replace and the objective reasons must be stated before sending the official letter to the House requesting a vote on the amendment.”
It is noteworthy that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, held talks yesterday, Monday, with all the political blocs in the House regarding the next stage, including the issue of the ministerial amendment.
