Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq has set the commission of banks and exchange companies from travelers at only 25 thousand dinars.
An official document issued by the Central Bank, which Shafak News Agency reviewed, showed that it decided that the administrative commission for banks and exchange companies operating in airports would be 10,000 dinars instead of 15,000 dinars for each transaction.
The document added that exchange companies collect 15 thousand dinars for each transaction.
She explained that the total lump sums of 25 thousand dinars will be received from the traveler from the citizen when he makes a purchase from exchange companies by entering his information through the financial transactions platform.
She pointed out that the exchange companies will settle with the companies and banks operating at the airport later, indicating that the commissions will be reviewed after 6 months.
