The new Republican Representative from Georgia, Margory Taylor-Green, called Friday for the removal of US President Joe Biden.
“I have just submitted impeachment articles to President Joe Biden, and we’ll see how things go,” Green said on Twitter, criticizing the deployment of more than 25,000 National Guard troops at Biden’s inauguration.
Not enough information was available on the impeachment article, but Green said in a press release that the impeachment request was based on Biden’s abuse of power since he was Vice President Barack Obama.
Green accused the Democratic president of enabling bribery and “blatant favoritism” by exploiting his son Hunter’s position at the Ukrainian Energy Company.
“Biden is unfit to take office, and the pattern of abuse of power as Vice President Obama is long and worrying,” she wrote in a statement.
“Biden has shown that he is doing everything necessary to fill his family’s pockets with cash from corrupt energy companies,” Green said.
