Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mohammed Tamim confirmed on Sunday that a new shipment of $500 million will arrive tomorrow from the United States.
Tamim said in a statement published by the official agency that “the exchange rate of the dollar in the parallel market will decrease and will be close to the official rate.”
He added that “the government has a distinguished relationship with the United States.”
He added that “the US government decided to send $3 billion to Iraq, in the form of packages worth $500 million each.”
He confirmed that “tomorrow a new shipment worth $500 million will arrive from the United States.”
