Sunday, the representative of the Sadiqoun bloc, Ali Turki, confirmed that the coordination framework does not mind the return of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies to parliament in accordance with the legal and constitutional frameworks, while noting that the tripartite alliance is dealing with the issue of disrupting Parliament.
In an interview with the Information Agency, Turki said, “The tripartite alliance under which some Kurdish and Sunni parties are affiliated is dealing with the issue of disrupting parliament sessions,” noting that “there is no explicit Kurdish position towards the political process that could be undermined.”
He added, “The coordinating framework does not object to the return of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies, which submitted its resignation, to Parliament again, but on the condition that it is consistent with the legal and constitutional frameworks.”
The representative of the Sadiqoun parliamentary bloc explained that “Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani is still the candidate for the coordination framework for the prime minister,” noting that “whoever wants to build a state should not attack the judiciary or the constitutional state institutions.”
The State of Law coalition had confirmed earlier today that the coordination framework is in line with the national dialogue between the political blocs, and we are not interested in any foreign intervention, whether through the United Nations or regional organizations; Because it is an internationalization of the Iraqi internal issue, and this is not in the interest of the country.” End / 25
