Political analyst Mofeed Al-Saidi described what happened by the demonstrators in storming the Iraqi parliament headquarters as chaos and lack of democracy and is not considered a reform.
In a direct interview with Al-Alam TV, Al-Saidi pointed out that there are types of demonstrators present in the Iraqi street. Some of the demonstrations are supported by the current Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and demonstrations supported by the Sadrist movement’s audience, which have their external drivers, as happened in 2019.
Hundreds of supporters of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, stormed the headquarters of the Iraqi parliament in the Green Zone
Al-Sadr’s supporters gathered in Tahrir Square before heading to the Green Zone, chanting slogans denouncing the political blockage and rampant corruption.
In the same context, the leader of the Sadrist movement expressed his support for storming Parliament, considering it a spontaneous reformist message
