I don’t know where Shabibi is right now and it sucks that the bad guys win, but the government has to move on. They are already looking at a final list…that narrows down to 3 different candidates.This is all good for us…this is big…we need to watch this. Some say a few months, other 6 months or more. The other possible scenario still on the table is the “staging rate” at or about .86 – .90. The realities are they have to increase the value of their currency if they activate those tariffs and if they ever really intend to join the WTO as a full member. 11-15-2012 Newshound Guru Mountainman Something I found curious was that Japan is now pushing for the implementation of some projects in Iraq’s economic sector that they funded with a 4 billion dollar loan. No details were given other than to say the loan was for funding 19 projects in the economic sector and to develop Iraq’s infrastructure. There sure are a lot of countries and powerful companies all pushing for Iraq’s recovery, whether that be economically, politically or the removal of sanctions. They are keeping the value of the dinar down artificially. From day one these guys with the LOP theory were wrong, it was invented. Iraq would not do that to their country, mess up their economy. Does this guarantee that they won’t throw us a curve ball…No. I don’t know when they will revalue or restructure their currency. They really can do it today. But, you have to look at what is going on over there with power, the CBI, etc. Maliki has the advantage, but we still don’t know. Things are going good in Iraq.
