2-8-2013 Intel Guru BWM I personally believe that if we SEE a budget without the rv number in it that would be a VERY bad thing… so with that said, I believe you could HEAR about the budget passing but won’t SEE the numbers until an RV has occurred… so with that theory, RV could happen simultaneously with budget but to have a budget and not an RV within the time period of seeing the budget in print would be bad IMO.
2-8-2013 Newshound Guru Breitling Some articles stated that they might not delete the 3 zeros & said they are going to raise the value of the dinar against the dollar. If they just leave the currency that we have out there and not retire them, that means that we can ride the value of the currency going up. If it’s true, it’s the best news. The people from the Minister of Planning were saying they were going to replace the currency one stage at a time, a 2 year process & then the CBI said they were going to do it, now they are talking about not doing it but they are going to raise the value of the dinar against the dollar. That should make the people that only have the 25,000 notes jump for joy. That’s the best scenario we can have. So, don’t worry about them not deleting the 3 zeros, that’s the best thing that can happen.
2-8-2013 Newshound/Intel Guru Flashing Articles: “IMF shows comfortable growth rates in Iraq” & “Kuwait – Iraq ties “thriving and positive” says Iraqi FM Zebari” One more time, you have seen articles that are meaningful for us. Everything is great and we should be happy very soon. We need to be focus on the real driver. There are other things that are just consequences of the big decision. Again Iraq is not the decision maker, but is the key performer. They have done everything asked from them under ch 7 and they should be out from it very soon. By the way let me tell you that there is a back wall which is the date in which the frozen funds will be available for use by Iraq. I am not saying that we need to go that far and I expect the rv soon.

2-8-2013 Intel Guru Freeway Bill We all are watching the wrong hand on this blessing. Everyone is watching things like the budget in Iraq, the news out of Iraq, the CBI and the endless rantings of dysfunctional…misinformation. The UST has been ready and stands ready. China is making moves to facilitate this blessing. Security issues has and remains the main issue. When the security is in place and solid, the RV will be completed. Folks, this will happen, but NOBODY knows the exact time…Granted, the rate will be substantial and not the ten cents a dance that some puts out…
1-8-2013 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG I’m not saying the RV can’t happen in the next few days, at any moment, it can. Iraq has the tools to do this at a moments notice, this is a fact. Is that what will happen? I doubt it. They have all the votes needed if they decide to go ahead with a no confidence vote. Parliament is attempting to move their courtry forward without this turmoil. Will Maliki fold? Highly unlikely. Are we fairly close, absolutely. Breath easy, it’s on the way. Keep the 35 – 40 day timeframe in your head. Now I won’t guarantee this, but if things go well in the next few days, this could line up for a finish anytime through, up to & including that time frame.
1-7-2013 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 I was told today, strictly rumor, there was a lot of dignitaries from different countries there, but we don’t know why. Also was told the people on the street are finally talking about the currency value increasing there. No indication of a rate and no indication of when it will happen.
1-7-2013 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 Got a report, highly unusual, they have been pretty accurate & trustworthy & was from 2 separate sources. Both said there were meetings Monday and Tuesday between Iraq’s Central Bank Finance Committee, the IMF, & the UST and all documentation pertaining to the Iraq dinar currency was finalized and signed and totally complete. We are only waiting for Iraq to get their government in position to take this thing forward. They will not have to meet with these agencies again. As far as they are concerned it’s a completed deal. But, it’s left up to Iraq & the Central Bank of Iraq to release it. They are not going to release it and the IMF will not accept the people they have in position right now, that is the only hurdle that has to be covered. They have to get their government done. Once these steps are taken, this thing is set to fly. It’s hard not to get excited.
1-7-2013 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 I have an update on the dong. I was contacted today and source said they are getting the same report as 2 weeks ago. They are in the process of talking of a revaluation but not right now. Vietnam has the 5th fastest growing economy in the world right now. There may be a small adjustment of their VND at the same time or just after, within 24 – 48 hours post RV of the dinar. But, that will not be their revaluation. They will have a major revaluation in 14 – 16 months after the dinar. I know that sounds crazy that they are giving us an opportunity to double dip.
2-7-2013 Intel Guru Bluwolf Now there are things that give us hints that something is happening, in Iraq’s case its budget and the chapt. 7 closing; in the banks case, the set up of all place holders, there one on one meetings, there doubling up on extra currency exchangers, all the memos receive indicating to all brokers to be on alert to close up shop. But with all this good news of the highest alertness there isn’t a person on the planet that really knows to the when all these place holders will all change to the rates behind each currency…when the time comes it will just flow into play very silently and graciously without a given notice.

My sources still saying and i concur with them over $5…again just rumors. rumors about dealers: they are expecting a change in value any time now. rumors about dates: Several sources are saying sunday after midnight, others are saying the 12 and other group are saying the 15 or right after. the back wall is over that date. the back wall is may 22. again, i am not saying we should go that far. imo, we should see it very soon starting next week as i stated previously. let me say it again. i am not saying we will go that far, but the date in which the funds will be released for use by Iraq is the back wall and the worst scenario. i expect it during this month starting next week.
2-7-2013 Intel Guru SteveI I do not rely on the news any longer, but wait until we can talk to sources in Iraq and let them explain the actual events. So until then, I elect to keep an open mind and stay positive. It very well could be a bit longer, but not much. Remember they only had enough money for this past payroll and no longer have the funds to pay anything. Iraq has come to a halt regarding money, and money is everything over there. As soon as we hear, we will provide and share what we are being told.
2-7-2013 Newshound Guru Doc All the hype around the imminent RV continues as hype. Many have tied it to budget passage and we concede it with HCL, Chapter 7, etc are precursors. The issue is some are reporting emphatically the budget will be passed on Thursday. While we wish this were true we awoke to the following release “Baghdad lifted Presidency of the Council of Representatives, on Thursday, the Council meeting of 11 to Saturday, with parliamentary source that the meeting witnessed the vote on the amendment of the law guards nightclubs and postpone the vote and read the seven draft laws, including the federal budget.” This is at least the second or third delay on the budget vote. We continue to council to…let these things happen as they do. Iraq is notorious for delays and no one knows the exact date it will occur. We report, you decide.

2-7-2013 Newshound Guru Kaperoni All I know is that Iraq needs to meet the Standby Agreement which clearly said they need to “improve the functioning of the exchange regime.” At this point, Iraq has no exchange regime so they better get going. What the rate will be, is unknown but they have stated free float.
