1-9-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Kurdistan just recently played what may be a “Power Card” – they’ve begun working outside of the GOI and doing business on their own. There have been oil sales and deals struck which completely excluded the GOI – any time oil is sold from any regioin in Iraq, a portion of that money is supposed to come to the Central Bank. Kurdistan is apparently disregarding that fact. This is different than the normal “huffing and puffing” – this is a serious play. This means that if they want to move forward, they are going to get SERIOUS about resolving the HCL… and if you’ve been following the Dinar for long, you know that the HCL is a major key to the future rise in the value of the Dinar. They told them they could not join until they raised the value of the dinar… and made it an internationally tradable currency.] sorta…there was a committee assembled some time ago to help Iraq with accession to the WTO. This committee told Iraq to get there currency more in line with the USD. Also, if and when you are a full member, you must follow WTO guidelines which adheres to IMF currency practices. 1-3-2013 Intel Guru Delta I do not think the revaluation is in Iraq’s hands. I think it is in the hands of the U.S. The oval office of the U.S. is in charge of the revaluation, not Maliki or Shabibi. The U.S. came up with the plan and they are going to finish it…it is timing. On January 7th or 8th, they will open the books for 2013. A strange action by the CBI…all the banks are now allowed to sell dollars. The CBI has made tons of money through the auctions. Now they are giving away the business that they are making money out of. How can they do that? This gives you an indication that they are going to raise the value of the dinar. That they would try to delay this until the increase in the capital gains tax is implemented?] Well I will say this, I know the US govt wanted to push this forward last summer because there were two articles that came out. One from the US embassy, that a high level person from the US embassy wanted the CBI to move forward with changing the value of the currency and introducing the new notes. That was last summer so to say they would be against it or not wanting it is wrong. And secondly in April, when the SIGR, which is an independent organization that was put together to monitor Iraq, released a report to the US Congress that Iraq was about to change the value of their currency and there was nobody at that point who was saying anything either. But it seems unlikely, Parliament is now out until the 8th of January. there were literally hundreds of articles last spring about 1-1. There were articles from the CBI…from the US Govt…from parliament, that all talk about a 1 to 1. Even economists have come out and said they want to make the dinar equal to the US dollar. In that sense, there is a lot of support for a 1-1 exchange rate right out of the shoot…this was what was going to happen until the end of this summer when we started to get the indication that they were going to free float the currency.
