1-22-2013 Newshound Guru Kaperoni It’s pretty much the entire plan laid out. I will just add, IMO, the float must start ASAP…they are following the National Development Plan 2010-2014. Remember what the World Bank said would occur in 2014? Iraq would be a “donor” state. Therefore, the dinar must have value, and the deletion process must be done before then. Based on published articles both inside and outside Iraq the European Union parliament has ratified an agreement between the EU and Iraq. The Italian MEP Mario Mauro was quoted as saying “Iraq can enjoy new economic opportunities and receive a boost to its efforts to promote democracy and human rights in the country thanks to its first-ever framework agreement with the EU”. This suggest Iraq will become a major trading partner with the EU. Our view from them to do so is to move toward a true democracy and most definitely an international recognized tradable currency. 1-12-2013 Newshound Guru Tlar If Iraq were to come together today, their past corruption is none of our business and I believe the files held at our embassy would never see the light of day just as they have not for the past 6 years. This unfortunately is not the case. Its getting worse not better. I think our embassy has finally come to the conclusion that Maliki must go. The records that have been released are on Maliki, his son and the SOL is just the beginning.. No one else has yet been exposed. If it continues Maliki will be thought of as a pariah even by his supporters. The NA was warned last week that the US embassy has these records of corruption going back to the beginning of Maliki’s term, 6 years.
