Ports: Completion of sonar networking operations at all border ports

The head of the Border Ports Authority, Omar Al-Waili, announced today, Tuesday, the completion of the networking operations of sonar devices in all border ports affiliated with the authority.
Al-Waili said in a statement received by /Al-Maalouma/ Agency, a copy of it, that “the authority has completed the operations of linking sonar devices to a single network in all its border ports.” He added that “this achievement represents an important step towards enhancing border security and improving the efficiency of monitoring operations.”
He added that “this link will enable the exchange of data and information between border ports immediately,” stressing that “this step comes within the framework of an integrated strategy aimed at developing the technological infrastructure of the authority, in line with international standards in the field of enhancing border security.”
