Parliamentary Security Committee demands that Al-Sudani expel US forces from Iraq

Member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Hussein Al-Ameri, called on Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, today, Monday, to expel the forces of the international coalition supported by the United States of America.
Al-Amiri said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “The withdrawal of American forces from Iraq is obligatory for the government,” indicating that “the government has pledged to withdraw all international coalition forces during the current year.”
He added, “The Sudanese government is obligated to implement House of Representatives Resolution No. (18) of 2020 regarding the withdrawal of foreign forces and the termination of their missions in the country,” noting that “the development of Iraqi security capabilities and the absence of any new agreement with foreign forces necessitates their stay.”
Al-Amiri stressed the necessity of “withdrawing all foreign forces, led by the Americans, from Iraq as quickly as possible.”
