The representative of the State of Law Coalition, Firas Al-Maslamawi, on Thursday accused Western countries of harboring the corrupt in the government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi, calling on the government to issue international arrest warrants against all the corrupt.

Al-Maslamawi said, in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “Al-Kazemi’s government exceeded the entire government in the history of Iraq in the files of theft and corruption, and the theft of the century included it.”

He added, “The oil and finance ministers in Al-Kazemi’s government lead more than one position in the issue of signing many contracts,” noting that “there are frightening numbers twice as high as what was mentioned in the theft of the century.”

He pointed out that “the biggest challenge for the government of Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani lies in the presence of those involved in the theft of the century outside Iraq.”

The deputy of the State of Law coalition pointed out that “America, Britain and France are the safe haven for those involved in the theft of the century.”

A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Representative Ali Turki, called, in a statement to Al-Maalouma, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani and the Integrity and Judicial Commission to issue an arrest warrant against former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi for investigation with him for stealing the century.
