Today, Sunday, the representative of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad al-Ziyadi, suggested that the Sudanese government file an appeal against the articles added by the House of Representatives, which included a financial provision.
Al-Ziyadi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “the House of Representatives has added several articles that were not included by the government in the Federal Budget Law, and these articles have a legal aspect,” it is likely that the Sudanese government will file an appeal against the articles added by Parliament to the Federal Court, and this is a guaranteed right. constitutionally”.
He added, “After the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday, the Ministry of Finance will issue explanatory instructions to ministries and departments not linked to a ministry in order to start disbursing the financial allocations specified by the Federal Budget Law.”
The House of Representatives had voted on the twelfth of June on the draft federal budget law for the fiscal years (2023, 2024, 2025).
