On Saturday, legal expert Ali Al-Tamimi identified the authorities that have the right to file an appeal against the Federal Budget Law for a period of 30 days.
Al-Tamimi said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that “the appeal against the federal budget law was determined by the Federal Court for the Council of Ministers, ministers, regional ministers, and bodies not linked to the ministry and governors, as stated in Article 19 of the Federal Supreme Court system.”
He added, “The appeal request is submitted to the Federal Court by a letter signed by the head of the concerned authority, and that the contested text relates to the tasks of those agencies or has implications and disputes in application.”
Al-Tamimi indicated that “the appeal shall be submitted within a period of 30 days from the date of publication of the law in the Official Gazette.”
And the House of Representatives voted, at dawn last Monday, on all articles related to the tripartite budget bill for the years (2023, 2024, and 2025).
