On Tuesday, the leader in the coordination framework, Jabbar Odeh, called for an investigation into a Saudi journalist’s tweet, noting that it revealed an American agenda inside Iraq.
In an interview with Al-Maalouma, Odeh said, “A well-known Saudi journalist tweeted two days ago about the US administration’s allocation of $12 million to three Iraqi universities in order to press for programs on homosexuality.”
He added, “The matter requires an investigation by the Ministry of Education, and an indication of whether there are really financial allocations for universities in this path, and providing answers to public opinion.”
He pointed out that “there is indeed an American effort and Western embassies in Baghdad to support these moral deviations in Iraq by raising flags of homosexuality on several occasions in a disgusting vision that confirms the moral collapse of the West.”
