Today, Thursday, the State of Law Coalition threatened the advisors of the former Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, who were involved in corruption and financial theft deals, while stressing that the judiciary will pursue them individually and wherever they are.
The leader of the coalition, Kazem Al-Haidari, said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that “the advisor is an irresponsible person in the state, but there is a group that surrounded Al-Kazemi, whether they were advisors, influential people, or owners of outlets with legal transgressions,” indicating that “the judiciary will pursue them individually.” individuals, wherever they are.
He added, “Corruption and theft deals that pursue former advisors will gradually be revealed,” pointing out that “each case will reveal a specific network, and as a result, these networks will be intertwined, perhaps even with governments outside Iraq.”
The leader in Maliki’s coalition explained, “These cases are left to the judiciary in general, and the investigation continues, and as a result of their extensive experience, they can reach all the leads, and it is certain that sooner or later those involved will be prosecuted individually and according to responsibility.”
Most of the fingers point to the previous government headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi (his advisors) regarding the theft of the century, but the judiciary has not moved towards these names, which raises a state of astonishment among the Iraqi people.
