Security expert Sabah Al-Aqili confirmed, on Monday, that former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi sought, during his term as prime minister, to establish a deep state in accordance with the American mood, indicating that all critical positions must be subject to evaluation and study by the Sudanese government.
Al-Aqili said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The former president, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, made important security and administrative changes during his term as prime minister, as he assigned many pivotal positions to personalities working according to the American-supported Al-Kazemi approach,” noting that “Al-Kazemi’s goal behind the changes in positions is to establish Deep state according to the American mood.
He added, “Al-Sudani carries with him many decisions that will change the form and performance of the new government, which contradicts the performance of the Al-Kazemi government, and all security and administrative positions will be subject to evaluation.”
In a previous statement to Al-Maalouma, the leader of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ghazanfar al-Batikh, called on the Public Prosecution to summon the former director of the intelligence service, Raed Jouhi, after revealing a new scandal represented in his receipt of a bribe estimated at $100 million in exchange for overcoming debts owed by Asiacell.
