Today, Monday, the State of Law Coalition revealed the reasons for the visit of Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani to Jordan, while stressing that there are many international visits that Al-Sudani will conduct and are on his agenda.
“The visit of Prime Minister Muhammad al-Sudani to Jordan, in addition to the other visits that he will make later, has many reasons,” said the representative of the coalition, Muhammad Saadoun, in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency.
He added, “The other reason is the recovery of Iraq’s looted funds to the foreign ministry,” pointing out that “these files are very important and come at the forefront of the Sudanese priorities.”
The member of Parliament explained, “The file of those involved and the looted funds was a topic at the beginning of the prime minister’s agenda during his visit to Jordan and other countries, in order to recover the funds.”
And Saadoun indicated that “one of the most important reforms that the new government intends to achieve is the file of exposing corruption files,” noting that “there are many international visits that Al-Sudani will make in the coming period.”
Earlier today, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani arrived in the Kingdom of Jordan, on his first foreign visit since assuming the premiership.
