Parliament: The new head of the Integrity Commission is accused of corruption

Shafaq News/ The head of the Parliamentary “Rights” movement, Representative Hussein Moanis, said on Sunday that the new head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun Zayer, was previously accused of financial and administrative corruption cases.
Monis said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, “At the time when there is a need to purify the body of the Iraqi state from the corruption of the corrupt and theft of public money, those who were excluded on August 22, 2016 due to charges of financial and administrative corruption are returned to him as the head of the Integrity Commission on November 13, 2016.” 2022″.
And today, Sunday, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, finished assigning Judge Alaa Jawad Al-Saadi to head the Integrity Commission, at his request.
Al-Sudani, in a statement issued by his media office, praised the efforts of Judge Alaa Al-Saadi, and assigned his honor, Judge Haider Hanoun Zayer, to carry out the duties of the presidency of the agency.
Al-Sudani affirmed his government’s direction and continuity in efforts to combat corruption, and recover the looted Iraqi funds, and those wanted in integrity cases, as this file is a priority in the ministerial curriculum.
Earlier in the day, the head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Alaa Jawad Al-Saadi, submitted his resignation from his position to the head of the federal government, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
