Al-Sudani, in a statement issued by his media office, praised the efforts of Judge Alaa Al-Saadi, and assigned his honor, Judge Haider Hanoun Zayer, to carry out the duties of the presidency of the agency.

Al-Sudani affirmed his government’s direction and continuity in efforts to combat corruption, and recover the looted Iraqi funds, and those wanted in integrity cases, as this file is a priority in the ministerial curriculum.

Earlier in the day, the head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Alaa Jawad Al-Saadi, submitted his resignation from his position to the head of the federal government, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
