A letter issued by the House of Representatives and addressed to Al-Sawadni’s office, obtained by Shafaq News Agency, showed that “the form of the book requesting the holding of the session did not meet the formality stipulated by the Constitution, from the Official Languages ​​Law, and the first was to use the official Kurdish language in parallel with the Arabic language.”

The book added, “A request to set a session of the House of Representatives must be preceded by your referral to the ministerial curriculum, so that the House will refer it to a special committee headed by one of the two Vice-Presidents of the House of Representatives to prepare a report to be submitted to the House before voting on it, based on the provisions of Article (43/second) of the House Law. Representatives and its formations No. (13) of 2018″.

He pointed out that “setting the date for holding sessions is within the competence of the House of Representatives based on Article (11/Second) of the House of Representatives’ bylaw, and your letter included a specification of the date of the session, otherwise.”

The Presidency of the Parliament had decided to hold a meeting this evening, to consider whether or not the Sudanese request to hold a session tomorrow, Thursday, and confirmed that if a member of the Presidency of the Parliament refused, the session of granting confidence to the Sudanese government will be postponed until next week.

Today, Wednesday, Al-Sudani announced a “final audit” of the names of his government cabinet, stressing that they will be presented tomorrow, as an official letter showed a request submitted by Al-Sudani, setting a session for tomorrow, Thursday, as the date for presenting his cabinet formation to the Iraqi parliament.
