Al-Salihi said in an interview with “Al-Maalouma”, that “a travel ban has been issued for all the names and elements of the network that are behind the theft of the century from the tax secretariats of the Rafidain Bank until the investigation is completed.”

He added, “A comprehensive investigation has been opened into all wasted and stolen funds since the current caretaker government, headed by Al-Kazemi, took over until now.”

And he continued, “The travel of all general managers and special ranks in the Al-Kazemi government has been prevented from traveling,” noting that “all parliamentary committees are currently following up in order to detect the red-handed and announce them by name to hold them accountable for this theft.”

Yesterday, a special security force had arrested the main suspect in the theft of the century, which amounted to more than two and a half billion dollars, while trying to escape in his private plane from Baghdad airport, after information published by the independent representative, Mustafa Sanad.
