The State of Law coalition revealed, on Thursday, that the coordination framework candidate for the prime minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, has started discussions to nominate his government ministers and discuss his government program.

The leader of the coalition, Jassim Muhammad Jaafar, said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, that “the political forces are seeking to set the 15th of this month as the date for passing the President of the Republic by holding a parliamentary session, and the framework candidate, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, will be assigned during the session.”

Jaafar added, “All political forces are in agreement to end the blockage and go to pass the government of Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, despite external pressures to keep Mustafa al-Kazemi as prime minister, amid my chest’s insistence on that.”

He pointed out that “Al-Sudani began discussions about naming his government’s ministers and his government program, where he set selection criteria for naming ministers by granting each bloc its due,” noting that “the ministers of defense and interior will be chosen by the Sudanese, provided that he presents them to the coordination framework and alliances of sovereignty and determination regarding the defense minister.” .

“Al-Sudani has carefully formulated a program, placing electricity, health, municipalities, and fighting corruption among a top priority,” Jaafar said.
