Parliament: We Are Awaiting Today The Issuance Of An Important Decision That Could Lead To The Trial Of Al-Kazemi And One Of His Ministers

Earth News / The independent deputy, Basem Khashan, announced today, Wednesday, his anticipation of a decision from the Federal Court that could lead to the trial of Al-Kazemi and one of his ministers.
Khashan wrote in a post on Twitter, and Earth News followed him, saying, “We are awaiting today a decision regarding the formation of the Iraqi Oil Company, which the Minister of Oil was assigned to head. This decision is very important . ”
He added , ” It could lead to the trial of Al-Kazemi and the Oil Minister in corruption cases regarding the huge oil contracts that caused the waste and theft of billions of dollars . ”
Khashan continued, ” The evidence that we presented, I believe, favors the ruling according to what we requested in the petition, but the matter is in the end for the Federal Court, which is binding on all authorities . ”
