He added: “The political forces have no choice but to vote for Al-Kazemi’s government, and our view is that there will be a government of political hawks to be adopted by the political forces.”
He pointed out that “the reality was that the government should be far from the parties, and Al-Kazimi is present in the field and is unheard of in the media. He is a reliable person and we need him and his Arab and international relations.”
And it was officially announced in Iraq last night that a date was set at nine o’clock tomorrow night, Wednesday, to hold a session of the Iraqi parliament to give confidence to the new Iraqi government led by Al-Kazemi within the constitutional period of 30 days that will end on the ninth of this month, despite the abstention of three political blocs from voting .
The formation of the new government comes against the background of the resignation of the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, under pressure from the protest demonstrations that started in Iraq on the first of October last, to demand the correcting of the political process, holding early elections, solving problems of unemployment, providing job opportunities and fighting corruption.
