A political source said, on Saturday, that the Al-Fatah coalition led by Hadi Al-Amiri informed the Prime Minister-designate of his opposition to the nomination of a number of personalities as ministers in the new cabinet, while he indicated that Al-Kazimi would make an amendment before submitting the formation to Parliament.
“The Al-Fateh Alliance informed the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazimi at the meeting of the political forces, his opposition to the nomination of a number of personalities in the last amended list,” the source said.

He explained that “the contested candidates are Harith Hassan for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hassan Nazem for the Ministry of Higher Education, Hashem Dawood for the Ministry of Culture, and Kazem Al-Sahlani for the Ministry of Labor.”

The source pointed out that “these ministries are from the share of the conquest,” noting that “Al-Kazemi will make a final amendment to the cabinet, before submitting it to the House of Representatives.”
