Oil Minister reveals negotiations begin tomorrow to supply gas to Kuwait[Baghdad-where]

Iraqi Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi said on Wednesday that “Iraq is ready to supply Kuwait with natural gas,” noting that “the negotiations will begin on Thursday between the two sides on this.”

He Mahdi told reporters in Kuwait where he is attending an oil conference that “there is a sincere intention and continuous exchange of views and this will be one of the topics that are looking tomorrow with the Kuwaiti side.”

And that “It is the political and economic terms and mutual benefit we certainly are ready, and this is where the benefit of Iraq and the benefit of Kuwait.”

Minister of Oil and predicted that “receipt of low oil prices, a shadow on the budget that Iraq of 2015,” noting that “spending will not exceed $ 100 billion.”

He pointed out that Abdul-Mahdi, “the reduction [in the budget] up to fifty percent more than it was last year, and if we talk to the dollar today will not exceed [the new budget hundred billion dollars.”

Iraq’s oil minister stressed that “the sharp decline in oil prices after OPEC meeting last November was not expected.”
