An informed government source revealed on Sunday that there is a move to make administrative changes that include a number of government bodies and institutions, most notably the directorates of retirement and border crossings, as well as government banks, financial departments and institutions, and positions in the ministry.
The source told Shafaq News Agency that these trends come after the completion of the ministerial file and the vote on the government cabinet headed by Ali al-Zidi, noting that there is a government vision to re-evaluate administrative positions and make changes in some leadership positions in accordance with the requirements of the next stage and the priorities of the government program.
He added that the anticipated changes and rotations will be based on national interest standards and raising the efficiency of institutional performance, as well as enhancing the effectiveness of government institutions and improving the level of services provided to citizens.
According to the source, some ministries and government institutions have seen a number of general managers remain in their positions for more than four years, which necessitates a review of their administrative positions and the possibility of transferring or rotating them to other positions.
He stressed that the delay in making these changes does not constitute an obstacle to proceeding with them, suggesting that the next stage will witness steps in this direction, within a governmental vision to reorganize the administrative structure and enhance the efficiency of work in state institutions.
Last Tuesday, the Federal Ministry of Finance issued an administrative order that included changes to a number of administrative positions and the assignment of employees to new tasks, based on the requirements of the work interest.
According to a document received by Shafaq News Agency, the order included assigning a director in the Human Resources Department of the Administrative and Financial Department to the duties of Assistant Director General of the Department, as well as assigning an employee to work as Director of Auditing in the same department, while assigning him the duties of Assistant Director General for a period of three months and granting him the allowances of the position in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
The order also included terminating the assignment of one employee to previous administrative tasks, and assigning other employees to manage departments, including the Human Resources Workforce Department, with the granting of position allowances at a rate of 20% of the nominal salary, based on the amended State and Public Sector Employees Salaries Law No. (22) of 2008.
