(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) President Barham Salih discussed with the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Abdul Nasser Hamati the importance of expanding trade exchanges between the two countries.
“President Barham Salih met at the Peace Palace in Baghdad on Wednesday with the governor of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nasser Hamati, and the delegation accompanying him,” the presidential statement said.
“During the meeting, they discussed economic and financial issues and the importance of expanding trade activities, in order to strengthen the bonds of financial dealings, as well as strive to support the development process and provide investment opportunities.”
“The meeting also discussed bilateral relations and means of enhancing them in all fields, in order to achieve fruitful cooperation and partnership.”
