the National Wisdom Movement stressed today, Wednesday, the necessity of installing 7 main axes before the strategic dialogue between Iraq and America.
The spokesman for the movement, Nofal Abu Ragheef, said in a statement that the agency received a copy of it, that it was “out of the national constants that were and still represent permanent national foundations adopted and defended by the national wisdom movement since its inception and along the long line from which this current springs, and while our country is witnessing a circumstance Exceptionally very special on the eve of the resumption of the preliminary dialogue between the Iraqi side and the American side, the national duty necessitates adherence to what the supreme religious authority indicated that the matter lies at the heart of the work of the next elected government, while emphasizing the need to install the following axes and bring them along the map of the aforementioned dialogue:
1 • Emphasizing and strengthening the sovereignty of Iraq on the basis of the constitution and the accomplished national identity.
2 • Devoting the principle of balance in international and regional relations in a way that serves the interest of Iraq and contributes to building equitable and healthy relations that establish the effectiveness of our country as part of a system of mutual relations and not an isolated island in a periphery.
3 • The importance of a serious and detailed review of the strategic framework agreement for the year 2008 between the two parties, and activating its various vital aspects, by benefiting from the past experiences of Iraq and investing them accurately in the interest of the country.
4 • Keeping bilateral relations away from any negative side effects that can be calculated on other parties, and avoiding Iraq to be an arena for settling accounts or a party to any proxy conflicts.
5 • Dealing with foreign forces present on Iraqi soil on the basis of their presence to perform a specific mission required by the exceptional circumstances after the entry of ISIS gangs, which requires reviewing the extent of the actual need for their continuation, while confirming the principle of their complete withdrawal and work to schedule it with the completion of the conditions required to do so.
6 • The American forces on the ground in Iraq are required to abide fully by the standards and conditions set and determined by the Iraqi government according to what it deems appropriate, until the end of its presence, and its mission is mainly to assist the Iraqi forces through a relationship of mutual respect.
7 • Benefiting from international experiences and experiences by adopting practical steps that are able to consolidate the unity of the Iraqis and their national historical fabric, and not to strengthen a party at the expense of another, and to develop and revitalize economic relations and to avoid any potential economic repercussions or damages.
”And he added:“ Finally, we recommend the reinforcement of the vision and mechanisms that will be adopted The Dialogue Team is based on the solidarity of the political forces to come up with a road map and recommendations that serve the national interest on the basis of values, principles and norms established by international law, equal relations and common interests.
