The head of the National Contract parliamentary bloc, Abdul Amir Al-Mayah, revealed today, Thursday, the government’s intention to expel all foreign forces from Iraq, including American forces.
Al-Mayahhi told Al-Maalouma Agency, “The current government is determined to remove all foreign forces from Iraq according to a specific timetable.”
He added that “the events taking place in the region have led to a delay in the process of scheduling the withdrawal of the international coalition forces, but there are assurances from the federal government in this regard, and that it is proceeding with implementing this decision.”
He stressed that “the coming months will witness the setting of a timetable for the complete withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraq, and that this decision is irreversible.”
