The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, which is part of the coordination framework, Rafiq Al-Salihi, confirmed on Sunday that the majority of the Sunni and Kurdish blocs expressed their acceptance of the framework initiative that he recently put forward to address the political blockage.
Al-Salihi said in an interview with him that “Iraq has practiced the most difficult ordeals, and therefore there is great hope at this stage for the breakthrough of the crisis and the convergence of the views of the political blocs and independents from the positions of the coordination framework.”
He added, “The political understandings are progressing in the right direction, and most blocs of the Kurds and Sunnis expressed their satisfaction and acceptance of the initiatives put forward by the framework and the independents.”
Al-Salihi pointed out that “the transformation into a fundamental fulcrum by standing on the discussion of initiatives, brings the points of view between the political blocs closer, and then go to the formation of the government.”
