legal expert Ali Al-Tamimi said on Saturday that the progressive procedures for the intervention of the UN Security Council in Iraq have started.

As for the resignation, Article 75 of the constitution defines its form, as it should be in an official letter that directs From the President of the Republic to the Speaker of Parliament, he explains the reasons for the resignation, and after seven days the resignation takes effect, at which time the Speaker of Parliament replaces the President of the Republic, due to the absence of a Vice President in Iraq, and the Speaker of Parliament remains for thirty days as President of the Republic, until the election of a new President of the Republic. ”
Al-Tamimi continued, “There is a struggle by the political blocs and currents over the positions, and it does not think of the fallen martyrs, as parliament was supposed after these resignations to dissolve itself, as there is no reason for it to remain after the resignations of the presidents of the government and the Republic.”
