Kuwait reveals the signing of five documents with Iraq today(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid Al-Jarallah said that there is an Iraqi-Iraqi consensus to resolve many outstanding issues in the context of the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries.
Al-Jarallah told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) after the opening of the seventh ministerial meeting of the Kuwaiti-Iraqi Joint Committee, looking forward to signing the Kuwaiti and Iraqi delegations on a number of agreements on Sunday morning, which will contribute to strengthening and developing bilateral relations.
He added that another round of bilateral talks will be chaired by Sabah al-Khalid al-Hamad al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait, and Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hakim. He expressed his great confidence in contributing to further cooperation and developing the future of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
He revealed five documents to be signed by the representatives of the two countries in addition to an agreed record between the two sides covering all aspects of cooperation with a view to building on what was achieved in previous meetings.
Al-Jarallah expressed his satisfaction with the positive atmosphere that prevailed in the meetings and the cooperation shown by the Iraqi delegation on the topics discussed in the joint task forces, in addition to the achievements achieved through the joint task forces.
He stressed that the meeting comes in precise and critical conditions in the region and it is therefore important and necessary to extend bridges of communication with the brothers to strengthen and strengthen relations between the two countries.
