Iraqi official - a government approach to pass this years budgetMubasher: The Secretary General of the Iraqi Council of Ministers, Hamid Al Ghazi, revealed a trend to approve the budget for the current year

Al-Ghazzi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Wednesday, that there is a basic clause in the current year’s budget by providing financial allocations for the implementation of Resolution 315.

He continued: “Failure to approve the budget disrupted this decision, except for ministries and institutions that have liquidity and financial allocations.”

The Council of Ministers decided, at its thirty-fifth session, held on September 8, 2019, to adopt mechanisms to address the conditions of workers as contracts and a daily procedure in government institutions, which were set up by the committee in charge of that.

The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers directed the ministries and entities not affiliated with the Ministry, the governorates and all the governorate councils, to implement the decision, by completing the procedures for converting the daily employees into contracts for those who have been in paid employment (a period of not less than one year).
