BAGHDAD: Iraq and the United States have signed a memorandum of understanding worth $ 5 billion.
Al-Hunain said in a press statement that “the Ministry of Finance signed an important agreement with the Export-Import Bank of the US EXIM for $ 5 billion.”
“This agreement will increase the total amount of financing from the Export-Import Bank of America from three billion dollars to five billion dollars,” he said.
He continued that “the agreement expresses partnership in areas that will create jobs in Iraq, and strengthen the relationship between the two friendly countries.”
