Today, Monday, a member of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, revealed the outcomes of the meeting of the State Administration Coalition and the most prominent files that were discussed between the political blocs, while the coalition counted the “motive” of the political process forward.
Al-Baldawi said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, “The one who pushes the political process forward is the presence of the State Administration Coalition, as it is the unifying entity for all the participating forces, and this is an important matter.”
He added, “The meeting that brought together the leaders of the political blocs discussed a set of files, most notably the file of the provincial elections and the date of their holding, especially as there are many issues related to the file, including the appointment of a new head of the High Electoral Commission.”
Al-Baldawi said, “The other file that was talked about is the budget and the need to speed up its approval, and to submit the final copy of the draft on the 10th of this month,” referring to “other files concerned with supporting the government to complete the terms of the political agreement concluded within the State Administration Coalition.”
The member of the House of Representatives pointed out, to “what is related to the launch of government projects and programs, in addition to the projects that the government needs, as well as overcoming issues that impede the government’s work, such as the issue of disagreements and pushing towards working together, and the continuation of meetings to solve all political problems.”
Earlier in the day, the State Administration Coalition met at the home of Khamis al-Khanjar; To discuss several files, including the budget, amid news that there are major differences between the Prime Minister and the House of Representatives, and other disagreements ravaging the leaders of the Sunni component, namely both Al-Khanjar and Al-Halbousi.
