Former member of the House of Representatives Sadiq al-Laban suggested the cancellation of the parliamentary elections after the emergence of a high percentage of electoral fraud in the province of Kirkuk.
Al Laban said that the process of manual counting and sorting of the ballot boxes of Kirkuk, showed significant results of electoral fraud, pointing out that the judiciary may resort to the abolition of parliamentary elections throughout the country, if the continued high rate of forgery in all funds given to them.
Al-Labban added that the partial counting and sorting in Kirkuk, recorded more than seventy percent of fraud in the electoral process in the province.
