ECONOMIC COMMITTEE MEMBER URGED FOR BAGHDAD AND KURDISTAN DISPUTE RESOLVE FOR 2014 BUDGET APPROVAL

Member of the Committee for economy and investment Deputy, the importance of overcoming all the differences between the Governments of the region and the Centre for oil in next year’s budget, noting that committees formed between Arbil and Baghdad failed for solutions to end the disputes.
Sheyaa stated to the local news agency, “The parliamentary blocks required to develop radical solutions to their differences over the issues that have become an obstacle to the development and promotion of the State due to differences, such as the oil crisis between the territory and the Centre, so that the House approve federal budget on time.”
He further added, “The public budget contains sections and paragraphs and articles should be studied in detail and thoroughly, with the participation of all parliamentary blocs and political ingredients to reach a consensus for adoption of budget formats.”
He noted that all joint committees established between the Governments of the region and the federal payment for companies operating in the territory and deliver oil revenues Baghdad, yet did not reach mutually satisfactory solutions, there is intransigence by both sides which caused considerable damage to the Iraqi economy and budget due to stop exporting oil in the territorial limits of 275,000 barrels of MIA.
The 2013 budget approved in the House by $ 100 billion, based on average oil export (2.9) million barrels/day and the rate is $ 90 per barrel, with a deficit estimated at 14 trillion Iraqi dinar.
