Member of Parliament Ghalib Muhammad suggested that the decision on the vacant ministerial positions in Al-Zidi’s government would be delayed until next month, noting that there were internal and external factors that were the reason for the delay in completing the government throughout the past period.
Mohammed told Al-Maalomah that “the resolution of the remaining ministries in the government is linked to internal and external factors, related to the disputes between the political blocs and the veto that some of them have regarding certain portfolios in Al-Zaidi’s government.”
He added that “the external factor, especially the American side, is also an obstacle to the completion of the government, but the biggest obstacle is related to internal disputes and the ongoing conflict over ministerial positions, especially security positions.”
He explained that “if the government does not fill the vacant ministerial positions this week, the remaining ministries will be decided next month, especially since the House of Representatives will not be holding sessions for a week this month.”
