The deputy of Al-Nasr Taha Al-Defai coalition revealed, on Sunday, the insistence of the Kurdish component to keep the current Finance Minister Fouad Hussein in the booth of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
The defense said in televised statements, “There is a difference within the components regarding the ministries,” noting that “the Kurds insist on keeping the current finance minister in the Al-Kazemi government.”
He added that “there are reports that Al-Kazemi granted two ministries of victory, one for wisdom, one for the rule of law, three for conquest, and three for others”, stressing that “the names of the ministers have not been determined yet.”
The deputy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mayada Muhammad, confirmed in a previous statement the “information”, that there is no obstacle to the formation of the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi, expressing her hope to start the negotiations process in the coming days.
