Deputy Fateh Alliance Fadel Jaber affirmed on Saturday that renewing contracts for mobile phone companies is a great detriment to the treasury and violates the laws for granting licenses to companies, calling on the Al-Kazemi government to cancel the renewal of its recently concluded contracts in a way that suits the best interests of Iraq.
Jaber said in a statement, “What the mobile phone companies bring to the treasures of the countries today is one of the important resources for every treasury, including Iraq if we keep away from it the corruption of contracts,” noting that “mobile phone resources are a permanent oil.”
He added that “Al-Kazemi’s government renewal of the same previous companies is a clear theft of the money of the Iraqi people, especially since these companies have not paid their debts to the treasury in addition to the contracts that exempt these companies from paying taxes and this is corruption that no ignorant can disclose”, noting that “the government has The laws in force as well as transparency were absent when the contracts were renewed as they were in the past. ”
Jaber called on the Al-Kazemi government to“ cancel the renewal of the contracts it recently concluded in a way that is in line with the higher interest of Iraq. ”
