The deputy of the Sadqoun Parliamentary Bloc, Thamer Dhiban Al-Hamdani, called on Friday, President of the Republic Barham Salih, to abide by the constitution in choosing the prime minister, while Saleh addressed: “We will remove you if you do not adhere to the constitution.”
Al-Hamdani said in a statement that he received [where] a copy of it: “The protector of the constitution, the president of the republic … You have an obligation to apply Article (76) in choosing the next prime minister, otherwise you will have been jailed in Yemen to abide by the constitution and protect him, and we will have to dismiss you.”
And the supreme religious authority, Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, expressed his hope earlier today, Friday, that it will not be too long to form a new government.
