8-12-2012 Intel Guru Jonnywg i can tell you that i have received information that it looks really good in the next couple of days…I HAVE RECEIVED MORE RV SUPPORTING CALLS FROM SOURCES IN THE PAST WEEK THAN IN THE LAST MONTH. WE STILL HAVE TO WAIT AS NO ONE REALLY KNOWS WHO THE TRIGGER MAN IS ( WE SUSPECT A GROUP OF 5, EACH WITH A BLOCK IT VOTE). IT WILL BE RELEASED THE DAY AND MINUTE ALL AGREE. IT IS FELT THAT GREAT STRIDES TO SOLVE THE RV CASH IN HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS.

Talabani is calling for leaders to unify their positions and according to reports they have reached an agreement on 80% of the reform paper which is a great sign and potentially may lead to the end of the political crisis. The adoption of the applicable reforms may be the political stability the CBI is looking for. Does political stability mean Iraq must revalue their currency? Of course not. However, if you truly believe economic reforms are also on the horizon for Iraq (as I do), then it’s only logical to assume that political stability is necessary to ensure the success of the economic project. We are seeing cohesion and unity – they are making efforts for reform…I thought we would see withdrawal of confidence before we saw reform honestly…I didn’t think they would be able to bridge the gap. The language we are hearing in the last couple of days has been really pointing toward…an agreement between them to where they could move forward…I am excited about what I am hearing…the fact that Allawi is open to meetings and Maliki is meeting with the powers and Maliki pushing for Mutlag to come back…Mutlag stepped in and has some extra powers and he’s utilizing them…trying to work out the Oil & Gas Law…everything we see is about working the crisis out and that gives us all reason to be encouraged. . 8-7-2012 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG I don’t care where it comes in at – I have an idea where it’s headed. In fact, if it starts in the low three’s I may leave a considerable amount in Dinars as I have an idea as to what will happen…my gut says a bit more than a dollar is the very bottom side. Worst case. I just don’t see it at a dollar (unless it’s a very short – initial rate). I truly think it will get to a bit over four bucks sometime in the first year after coming out – don’t care where it comes out…at some point in the near future, it will be worth more…and that’s why – if it starts in at a low 3 number I’m not in a big hurry… I agree the drastic move from a dollar + to over 4.00 in a year would be currency “whiplash” and does carry with it some inherent risks – I am under the impression – both from sources and the lack of any real proof otherwise – Dr Shabibi will directly manage the IQD pricing for some time. 8-5-2012 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG It appears the CBI is and has been ready to move for sometime now. They are busy getting the GOI on board. One thing to think about – most MP’s don’t understand the whole currency/economic impact…I wonder if, once they “get it” – will it have an impact on who they support. In other words, if they think not supporting Maliki will be radically helpful to the country (economically) – will they still be on board with his “power grab”?? There is quite a bit of anti-Maliki sentiment brewing again. Washington paid a high-end PR firm to do a massive pro-Maliki campaign a while back, but that seems to be wearing off as of late.

We continue to see the GOI stratagem toward reform (which would be the optimal solution for investors). The more I study macroeconomics, the more I understand the Lopsters argument. If you solely look at historic large currency appreciations, even a 20% increase, runs the risk of having negative long term effects. I, not for one second, believe that this is about Iraq. Iran is not an issue and Syria will be take care of, taken out of power real soon. This stuff is not delaying the RV. Also, there are no early cash out packages, be careful who you are trusting. If you have to sign a non disclosure, it’s a scam. The rate is going to be good. 7-31-2012 Newshound Guru Doc Many more articles focusing on HCL and “deleting the zeros” came to light in the last few days. Most of the ones about HCL focused on getting a law that “meets” the constitution. One member of the Oil and Gas Committee shared there were 2 proposals and possibly a third forthcoming. Her concern seemed to be narrowing them down one so the law could be passed or at least voted on. This tells us there at least to some degree appears to be a sense of urgency are this issue. 7-26-2012 Newshound Guru Breitling You can only go by what the CBI says or policy…they are talking about printing the currency in September and then re-denominating in January but don’t place your bets on the table, because I don’t believe them…but, you have to watch it, you have to be aware on it. But, it’s the best opportune window…the windows that lets them get out of chapter 7 is when the U. N. Security Council meets to vote every 4 months. As far as revaluing at a buck, that’s from articles & from reports from the Minister of Planning and what the CBI has said…actually my range is from a few cents up to a buck. Read more…
