An Iraqi party announces the resignation of 13 members, including a former minister.

Biyarq al-Khair Party issued today a statement on the resignation of 13 members, including Minister of Defense Khalid al-Obeidi.
The party said in a statement that “the Secretary-General of the party banners of good with the Secretariat and the Advisory Council of the party strongly reject what is stated in the statement of the group headed by Khalid al-Obeidi because he resigned from the Secretariat prior to the elections in the 15 February 2018″.
He added that “al-Obeidi, then joined the list of victory, head of the list in the Nineveh this day,” he said, adding that “some of those who stood with them what is separated from the party and another resigned and another exercise political activity bipartisan in that one.”
Thirteen members of the 19-member Biyarq al-Khair party announced yesterday that they have resigned to the party.
