Adviser to the Prime Minister Hussein Al-Hindawi, on Thursday, spoke about Mustafa Al-Kazimi’s government plan to confine arms to the state, while he identified 3 challenges that stand in the way of early elections.
Al-Hindawi said in a televised interview, “The government headed by Al-Kazemi is preparing and trying to possess all capabilities in order for weapons to be exclusively in the hands of the state and for the law to be prevailing.” Indicating that “the government possesses perspective and mechanisms and there is work to achieve this issue point by point.” .
He added, “Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi came to power in order to fulfill what was promised by the Iraqi people and does not want to remain in a power that does not fulfill its promises.”
Al-Hindawi pointed out that “there are 3 challenges facing the government, which are the security and economic and the Corona epidemic, which represents a threat in Iraq and the world, but at the strategic level, the elections are the primary goal of the government of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi because it was the most important demands of the demonstrators and also within the ministerial platform of the government.”
