The Border Ports Authority announced, on Saturday, the reopening of the Mandali border outlet in the presence of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
The authority stated, in a statement, that “Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, accompanied by Omar Adnan Al-Waeli, head of the Border Ports Authority, opened today, the Mendele border crossing, for partial commercial exchange with the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
The Prime Minister confirmed, according to the statement, that “our visit to the outlet is a clear message to all the corrupt that you do not have a foothold in the border crossings as a whole and all departments work to fight corruption because it is a public demand. Everyone must join hands to fulfill this demand. ”
Al-Kazimi added: “He gave us powers to the Chairman of the Border Ports Authority to fight and chase corrupt people in all border crossings.”
