A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Al-Fatlawi, confirmed that the largest parliamentary bloc can be achieved even without an alliance with the Sadrist bloc, pointing to the ability of the coordinating framework to achieve this bloc through alliances with independents.
Al-Fatlawi told Al-Maalouma, “If Al-Sadr continues with the opposition, this does not mean that the largest bloc has not been achieved, especially since the initiative of the independents was welcomed by the coordination framework that gave its approval to their initiative.”
He added that “the largest bloc may be present in the event that al-Sadr goes to the opposition, and thus the formation of this bloc from the coordinating framework and independent representatives.”
