A member of the coalition, Deputy Fadel Al-Fatlawi, said, “The negotiations will be led by a commitment to the House of Representatives decision to remove foreign forces and not to allow American forces to be present in Iraq,” noting that “these negotiations should paint the nature of the relationship between Iraq and America.”

He added that “the government will discuss the multiplicity of sources of buying weapons and getting out from under the American garment on the side of armaments during negotiations,” noting that “Parliament will closely monitor all items that will be presented during the negotiations that will be launched tomorrow Thursday between the United States of America and the Iraqi government.”

The former deputy, Jasim Muhammad Jaafar, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the terms of the agreement that will be concluded with the United States of America during the negotiations of this June will not enter into force without a vote on them in the House of Representatives.
